I moved from Colombia when I was 18 to pursue my bachelors and play college volleyball in the United States. Five years later, I decided to move to my dream city Amsterdam to continue pursuing my education and career in neuroscience. Although I find social and physical sciences fascinating, I enjoy writing stories of my memories and experiences away from home. I see it as an opportunity to share fears, failures, achievements, and lessons that have shaped me into who I am today and also helped me make connections with people from all around the world. I want my writing to touch people’s souls and transmit a message that they are not alone in this never-ending experience of living abroad.
